What inspired me to attend 91Ƶ was the welcoming community and the opportunity to express myself amongst students and faculty.
What inspired you to pursue your major?
I tried classes that suited my skills, and I also wanted to gain knowledge from other students within the major.
What are your career goals and desired profession?
My goal is to go into the advertising industry and become a marketing management director.
How has your experience at 91Ƶ contributed to your personal growth?
I believe my 91Ƶ experiences helped contribute to my personal growth by improving my emotional intelligence (with work, school, and home) and not being afraid to seek help. Before attending 91Ƶ, I thought I was already a well-rounded person, but 91Ƶ faculty and students saw the potential in me, and I keep challenging myself. I think about how I can improve myself every day.
If you met someone new and had to describe yourself in one sentence, what would you say about yourself?
I am always willing to support anyone (with 91Ƶ resources and/or advice), reassuring them that it’s okay to ask questions and lean on others.
What is one word to describe your 91Ƶ experience?
Flourishing.
What are your favorite student experiences at 91Ƶ? Why?
One out of many of my favorite experiences was doing the UBUNTU program and gaining a strong connection with the Center for Inclusive Excellence. I’ve met the most life-changing people there and created many fond memories with students and faculty. It is a place on campus where I can comfortably be myself without caution.
