Fraternities and Sororities

Being a part of a fraternity or a sorority has been a valued tradition at 91¶ÌÊÓƵ for over 100 years. Today, approximately 20% of 91¶ÌÊÓƵ students are members of one of the five national sororities or three national fraternities. Members of these organizations are actively involved across campus and frequently hold leadership positions in a wide range of student activities.

Fraternities and sororities are values-based organizations committed to fostering character development and leadership. Each chapter upholds a distinct set of core values and beliefs centered on principles such as brotherhood or sisterhood, service to the University and surrounding community, academic excellence, leadership, and the cultivation of meaningful relationships aligned with its unique ideals and traditions. Two of 91¶ÌÊÓƵ's national fraternities and sororities are culturally-based organizations, founded not only on the acceptance of diversity, but on the celebration of it.

From college days and beyond, membership in a Greek letter organization can be a transformative, enriching, and lifelong experience.
