Psychology Minor

The minor in psychology consists of six course units: PSYC 120, PSYC 211, PSYC 212, and three additional courses that must include at least two 300-level courses. (A student can declare a minor in psychology at any time. Please note that a student must earn a grade of C or higher in PSYC 211.)

Psychology Minor with a Waiver

For students whose major (e.g., Health Science) already requires PSYC 120, the PSYC 120 requirement is waived for the Psychology minor. As a result, these students complete a five-course Psychology minor. The minor with the waiver consists of PSYC 211, PSYC 212, and three additional Psychology courses, at least two of which must be at the 300 level.
